bymezzy is an apparel design company based in Colchester, VT. mezzy comes from the name ‘NGAMEZE’, a pet name our CEO Onyekachi Akalonu is affectionately called by his mother. NGAMEZE, according to her, is an old igbo phrasing that loosely translates to ‘one who will be a refuge and leader amongst people’. we aim for our designs to give our customers the same feeling - a sense of comfort and belonging.
